Wadebridge U3A Walking Group: Treyarnon Walk

Martin and Audrey extended a lovely welcome for our group allowing us to park on their lawn and return after the walk to eat our packed lunches in there very extensive conservatory and provided tea and coffee.The weather was kind to us and though quite windy it stayed dry.

October walk 2010 Siblyback Lake Golitha Falls King Dariets Stone

This was my first walk since my heart attack and we were lucky with the weather. There was a good turn out of members and we had lunch at the lakeside cafe.

Return after triple bypass operation

I am making a good recovery after my heart operation and hope to lead the October walk. It will be great to be back enjoying the company of my friends.

January Walk

Unfortunately the snow prevented our walk this month; it was a case of better safe than sorry. I have to confess that when I tried the extended version of the walk from Carnewas to Morgan Porth I slipped in the mud and rolled in it finishing covered from head to foot in gooey mud.
